马来西亚城市大学首次线上毕业典礼——新冠肆虐，步履不停

Petaling Jaya, 16th January 2021 - City University celebrated a total of 1000 graduates from 60 programmes in its First Virtual Convocation ceremony. Graduates from around the world are ceremoniously gracing their presence at the prestigious (CityU) convocation virtually.

2021年1月16日，在八打灵再也，马来西亚城市大学举行了首次在线毕业典礼，来自60个专业的1000多名毕业生参加了本次线上毕业典礼。来自世界各地的毕业生，都以最隆重的仪式出席了城大的此次典礼。

The convocation ceremony was joined by the Board of Governors and the Board of Directors of City University and were broadcast live to all CityU students and graduates from all over the world.

马来西亚城市大学理事会、董事局出席了本次典礼，并向来自全世界的城大学生及毕业校友们进行了直播。

The ceremony begins with a keynote address by Pro-Chancellor, Emeritus Prof Tan Sri Dr Nik Mustapha Abdullah who subsequently presented the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Master’s degree, bachelor and diploma. The 2020 Academic Excellence Award was also given to selected graduates representing different programs.

荣誉校长Tan Sri Dr Nik Mustapha Abdullah 为本次授予典礼致辞，并颁发了工商管理博士DBA学位、工商管理硕士MBA学位、工商管理学士学位及文凭。同时也为各专业的优秀毕业生们颁发了2020年学术优秀奖。

In the Message from City U Pro-Chancellor, Emeritus Prof Tan Sri Dr Nik Mustapha Abdullah Said “In light of the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s graduating class of 2020 missed out on traditional physical in-person graduation ceremony. With so many things happening around us that gets us down, the middle in a global crisis, but still the students’ have persevered. They still made it; the students’ hard work make today the highlight of their achievements. “Real change has just started with you, a new generation of graduates we celebrate today”.

马来西亚城市大学荣誉校长Tan Sri Dr Nik Mustapha Abdullah 在致辞中提到：“因为新冠病毒的肆虐，2020届的同学们错过了我们传统的线下毕业典礼。在这次全球性的危机中，虽然身边发生着许多让我们沮丧的事情，我们的同学们仍然展现出了他们的坚韧和不懈。是的，他们做到了。正是这些拼搏和努力，让今天，成为你们的高光时刻。从你们——我们今天为之庆祝的新一代毕业生身上，真正的改变才刚刚开始。”
