马来西亚城市大学中国校友会浙江分会成立暨倪政立校长发表讲话

尊敬的方明博士，拿督林恒毅，姜忠岐主任，李明珠博士，各位来宾，中国伙伴和同学：

Distinguished guests, Chinese partners, and fellow students:

大家下午好。

A very Good Afternoon everyone.

今天下午，我很高兴与大家在这里举行盛大的仪式，共同成立中国校友会和南海商学联合会浙江分会。

This afternoon, I’m pleased to have each and every one of you here in a grand ceremony for the establishment of the China Alumni Association, Zhejiang Branch in collaboration with the Nanhai Business Association.

马来西亚城市大学成立于1984年，有着37年的卓越历史已经培养了来自世界各地的优秀毕业生。我们的许多毕业生都来自中国，韩国，日本。东盟，印度尼西亚，越南，柬埔寨，文莱和缅甸；南亚，印度，孟加拉国；中亚，乌兹别克斯坦，巴基斯坦。中东和非洲大陆。今天，城市大学的毕业生目前都在在政府，公司和非营利组织中担任着重要职务。我们城市大学的毕业生为我们所取得的成就感到非常自豪。

City University Malaysia is established in 1984, with 37 years of distinguished history in producing excellent graduates from all over the world. Many of our graduates who come from the Far East, China, Korea, Japan. ASEAN, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, and Myanmar; South Asia, India, Bangladesh; Central Asia, Uzbekistan, Pakistan. Middle East and The African Continent. Today this Graduates of City University held important positions in a government, corporate and non-profitable organization. We at City U, are extremely proud of the achievements by our former graduates.

马来西亚城市大学与中国的互动关系始于1998年。这是长期的友好和亲切关系。 中华人民共和国主席***提出“一带一路”的伟大倡议时，中国巩固了中华民国与东南亚国家的合作关系，特别是马来西亚，甚至更紧密的关系。

City University relationships with the students from China begun in year 1998. It was a long friendly or cordial relationship.When President of The People’s Republic China, Xi Jinping put forth the great initiative of “One Belt One Road”, it cemented and even closer relationship between Republic of China with countries in the South East Asia, especially Malaysia.

从那时起，马中两国在“一带一路”下逐渐在各种领域进行互惠互利的合作交流，包括经济，政治，国防，社会和教育领域。随着“一带一路”倡议以来，两国之间的互动记录已增长了十倍以上。尽管目前存在疫情肆虐全球，但并没有削弱马中两国之间的关系，无论多大的挑战，两国关系仍牢固真诚和热情。我们相信，当疫情结束并且一切恢复正常时，两国成熟的友谊合作和关系将进一步扩大。

From that time, they has been various exchanges between the nations in the economic, political, defense, social and education sectors. The trip between the two countries have grown more than 10 times since the establishment of one belt and one road initiative. Despite the present pandemic it has not dampen the relationship between the countries on the contrary, the relationship have remain strong and warm despite these challenges. We believe our mature beneficial collaboration and relationship will scale greater high when the pandemic is over and everything returns to normalcy.

今天，尽管我们不能亲临现场一起参加此次成立盛典，但我们对各位中国的学生出席感到非常满意和欢迎。我们希望随着马来西亚城市大学-中国校友会，浙江分会与南海商会的成功建立，期待接下来在中国各个城市看到更多的新分会和分支机构。如此一来，借此马来西亚城市大学在中国有着悠久而杰出的教育记录，希望学生和马来西亚城市大学在学生毕业后能继续和母校保持亲密关系。我们希望各位同学们日后完成学业后，毕业生能够积极一起与城市大学参与各种项目，作为对社会和中华人民共和国的企业社会责任的回馈。

Today, although we cannot attend the ceremony together as a group and in person, we are deeply pleased with our students presently in China. We hope with the successful establishment of City University Malaysia - China Alumni Association, Zhejiang Branch in collaboration with the Nanhai Business Association, we hope to see more new chapters and branches growing in various cities in China. This way it allows the students and City University Malaysia to continue our warm relationship after student graduations as City University Malaysia has long and distinguished present in the People’s Republic of China. City University wishes more and more of its graduates will keep in touch with its alma mater participate in City University in China and together help improve the existing students in China by giving various assistants as a means of corporate social responsibility to the society and the People’s of Republic of China.

最后，我想借此机会祝愿马来西亚城市大学，中国校友会，浙江分会与南海商会合作成立，并取得圆满成功。祝大家身体健康，万事如意。

Lastly, I would like to take opportunity to wish the establishment of City University Malaysia, China Alumni Association, Zhejiang Branch in collaboration with the Nanhai Business Association a great success and future undertakings. I wish everyone a good health and smooth year ahead.
